Description dive spot:
The lake is definitely recommended for a Sunday trip in summer. On the large and beautiful lawn and the bathing area also non-divers feel comfortable. In addition, you can do barbecue!
In the lake there is little fish, but many crabs, which speaks for the water quality. Nevertheless, there is also a lot of rubbish in the lake. The visibility is usually good during the week, 5 meters and more. At the weekend, the visibility is just gone due to the large number of divers (0,5 meters and less).
Once round the lake near the shore takes between 100 and 120 minutes - but is not allowed anymore.
A diving permit is required since 2021. This costs 28 € per year and can be requested and obtained directly from the city of Bruchsal. We have placed the direct links under "Related links".
